The European Conference Series – Week One Report

Conference Theme: “Integrated Practices: Creating Experiences to Enhance Learning” and “Education, Power and Empowerment: Changing and Challenging Communities”

The Third European Conference on Education (ECE2015) was held jointly alongside The Second European Conference on Language Learning (ECLL2015) and The Second European Conference on Technology in the Classroom (ECTC2015) at the Thistle Brighton, Brighton, United Kingdom from July 1 – July 5, 2015 saw over 360 delegates representing more than 45 countries.

This first conference weekend was a great celebration of interdisciplinary study around the conference theme, “Education, Power and Empowerment” and attracted a great range of research papers, presentations, posters, workshops, and featured panels. IAFOR would like to thank our Keynote, Featured and Spotlight Speakers Dr. Fergal Finnegan, Ken Wilson, Dr. Linda Morrice, Dr. Tamsin Hinton-Smith, David Wolff, Dr. Kerry Harman, Dr. Susette Brynard & Sheri Brynard, Dr. Katy Campbell, and Michele Jacobsen.

Our special thanks goes out to our tertiary partner the University of London – Birkbeck and our conference Co-Chairs and Program Directors, Professor Sue Jackson, Professor Barbara Lockee and Professor Steve Cornwell for their continued academic support and guidance.
