IAFOR Vladimir Devidé Haiku Award – Winners 2013

Professor Mark Williams, Acting President of Akita International University, announces the winners of the 2013 IAFOR Vladimir Devidé Haiku Award.

The Asian Conference on Literature & Librarianship was the venue for the announcement of the winners of this year's IAFOR Vladmir Devide Haiku Award, which drew 171 entries vying to win the prestigious international prize that celebrates this ancient Japanese art form. The Award was named in memory of Vladimir Devidé, who died in 2010, as a tribute to the distinguished Croatian japanologist, poet, and tireless promoter of Haiku.

This year Krzysztof Kokot of Poland was named the winner of the Award which was presented by the ACAH/LibrAsia 2013 Keynote Speaker, Professor Mark Williams, Acting President of Akita International University, as part of the conference Plenary Session, in front of 250 attendees.
