The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) is looking for current undergraduate or postgraduate students (or equivalent) to work part-time in its Head Office in Nagoya.

This opportunity will provide a fantastic opportunity for work experience for anyone interested in event management and customer relations. It’s also a great insight into academic events for students interested in post-graduate study.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced event management professionals as part of a administrative conference team that manages every aspect of a successful academic conference.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be confident, well-presented, self-motivated and hardworking, and capable of working with others as part of a team, as well as independently, and possess excellent interpersonal and communicative skills. The candidate will be interested in working in a challenging international environment.

  • Candidates should have the right to work in Japan
  • English – Eiken Level 2 / TOIEC 700+ or equivalent

Basic Information

  • Location: IAFOR Head Office, Naka Ku (Fushimi Area), Nagoya, Japan
  • Industry: Event Management, Further Education
  • Work Type: Part-time
  • Wage: 1,000 Yen /per hour + commuting costs
  • Hours: Negotiable – 10-20 hrs, 2-5 days/week (Office open weekdays: 09:00-18:00)
