The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) is looking for undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral-level students to work at The IAFOR International Conference on Education (IICE2023), to be held at the Hawai’i Convention Center in January 2023.

The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) is looking for undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral-level students to work at The IAFOR International Conference on Education (IICE2023), to be held at the Hawai'i Convention Center in January 2023.

This 3-day work placement will provide a fantastic opportunity for work experience for anyone interested in event management and customer relations. It's also a great insight for students interested or engaged in postgraduate study. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to meet delegates and academics from around the world, and experience a truly international academic event.


The successful candidates will work alongside experienced event management professionals as part of a conference team that manages every aspect of a successful academic conference.

Placement Period
- Thursday, January 5, 2023: 08:30-18:00 (9.5 hours - includes a 60-minute meal break)
- Friday, January 6, 2023: 08:00-18:00 (10 hours - includes a 60-minute meal break)
- Saturday, January 7, 2023: 08:00-16:30 (8.5 hours - includes a 60-minute meal break)

Requirements
The ideal candidates will be confident, well-presented, self-motivated and hardworking, and capable of working with others on projects both as part of a team, as well as independently, and possess excellent interpersonal and communicative skills. The candidates will be interested in working in a challenging, international environment, and will need professional working English language skills.

To be considered for an internship, you must meet the following requirements:
Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or PhD programme in the State of Hawaii.
Be legally authorised to work in the United States.
Be at least 18 years old.
