Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism is now an official partner of The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) and The Asian Conference on Media, Communication & Film (MediAsia).
"Northwestern University is a very highly considered university in the United States, and the Medill School of Journalism is a wonderful institution, which we have worked with informally for a couple of years," says Dr Joseph Haldane, President of IAFOR. "It is frequently ranked the most prestigious school of journalism in the US, and we are very proud of the recognition their support brings to IAFOR's Media programmes, and are excited to be working together on new projects. We look forward to welcoming the school's Dean, Professor Bradley Hamm, back to our Japan Conference this year, as well as to leading Medill documentary filmmaker, Brent Huffman."
For nearly a century the Medill School of Journalism has been one of the finest journalism schools in the United States and has produced many Pulitzer Prize laureates and notable journalists.
Medill continues to expand its global reach and presence in the field of journalism as the boundaries separating people from one another and from information they want and need will only continue to evaporate. The faculty, staff and students of Medill are constantly at work, visiting news organizations, NGOs and corporations across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South and Central America, striving to understand people, their behaviors and their motivations. This is the foundation for discovering insights that fuel relevant and engaging connections and inspire action between people, brands and enterprises.
Medill’s core values are closely aligned with IAFOR's and we are honoured to have their support.
