Publication Ethics

Ethics Statement

IAFOR aims to ensure that best practice and ethical standards are maintained by journal editors, authors and reviewers. IAFOR editors and reviewers are required to assess manuscripts fairly and maintain confidentiality. Authors must ensure that research submitted to IAFOR journals is their own original work and is not under consideration or accepted for publication elsewhere.

Plagiarism and Copyright Issues

No articles will be published if they violate other author’s rights and copyright, fully or partially, through plagiarism (including self-plagiarism) or inclusion of elements (such as images) that do not belong to them and for which they did not receive a written consent to use. Plagiarism is defined as reproducing ideas or full contents from someone else without crediting the original source using the citation system specified in the Author Guidelines. During the review process, plagiarism must be immediately reported by the Reviewers using the Review Form, providing sufficient evidence (including the results of specialised software). If plagiarism is detected after publication, articles will be withdrawn from IJSEE.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, members of the Editorial Board and reviewers must mention, whenever applicable, potential conflicts of interest, with a possible impact on the review process. Authors must include all grant information if their work results from funded research.
