New Editor Appointed: IAFOR Journal of Arts & Humanities

We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Editor for the IAFOR Journal of Arts & Humanities, Dr Alfonso J. García Osuna of Hofstra University, USA. Dr García Osuna brings decades of research and teaching experience in his field, as well as considerable expertise as an editor and peer reviewer. We are certain that the journal will benefit from his leadership and editorial judgment, and look forward to sharing upcoming issues with the journal’s readership and the wider Arts & Humanities community.

We would like to extend our thanks to the outgoing Editor, Dr Thomas French, who edited the journal from its inception in 2012, for his hard work and significant contribution to IAFOR.

Dr García Osuna is currently accepting submissions for his inaugural issue of the journal, which has a target publication date of April 2017. The submission deadline is January 31, 2017. The journal welcomes submissions related to Arts & Humanities from academics, practitioners and professionals within the field. Dr Alfonso J. García Osuna has taught at Hofstra University in New York, USA, for over thirty years. He specialises in medieval and early modern literature, receiving his PhD (1989) from the Graduate School of the City University of New York. He has completed post-doctoral work at the University of Valladolid, Spain, has published six books, and is a frequent contributor to specialised journals. Alfonso received primary and secondary education in Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, the place where his family originated and where he grew up. An avid cyclist, he has completed the Road to Santiago, an 867-kilometre route through northern Spain, six times.
