Sunway University Joins IAFOR Global Partnership Programme

IAFOR is pleased to announce that Sunway University in Malaysia has become an IAFOR Global Partner through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Professor Graeme Wilkinson, Vice-Chancellor of Sunway University. The university will be represented on IAFOR’s International Academic Advisory Board by Professor Stephen J. Hall, Head of the Centre for English Language Studies.

Located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, Sunway University has established a reputation over the past three decades both in Malaysia and overseas as an inspiring educational leader. The university places great emphasis on the development of its research profile and is committed to producing groundbreaking and innovative research. Sunway University was recently awarded the internationally acclaimed QS 5 Star rating for Teaching, Facilities and Employability.

Professor Graeme Wilkinson comments:

“Sunway University is committed to transnational education and building education across cultures. Our international campus with over 80 nationalities includes more than 60 Japanese students. We are committed to deepening Asia-Pacific and other international partnerships, as is IAFOR. Becoming the first Malaysian university to partner with IAFOR through this MOU will therefore provide an excellent foundation on which to build further transnational linkages.”

Sunway University is one of the most dynamic universities in Malaysia, and though young has already built an excellent reputation. We look forward to working with Sunway University and to being a part of the institution’s future.
