Optional Charitable Donation

The International Academic Forum,​ in cooperation with our partner, the HOPE International Development Agency - Japan, is supporting educational development through the Pamulaan Center for Education of Indigenous Peoples in the Philippines in 2016, where we are sponsoring the education of five undergraduate scholars.

We will add a discretionary 10 EUR to any package that you purchase. If you wish to contribute more you can add a donation using the options at the bottom of the page. Optional Extras

 

We are pleased to offer our delegates several optional events outside of the conference in order for them to experience Spain and to get to know their fellow delegates better. Friends and family of conference delegates are welcome to join the Conference Dinner and Barcelona and Conference Tours. Additional attendees can be added to the cart before checking out. Please note that attendance on the tours and at the Conference Dinner is restricted to ages 14 +.

Payment Information

 

Pay Securely Online with a Credit Card via PayPal

You may pay by PayPal online using a credit card. Fill in all the required field before clicking on the 'Add to cart' button(s), then click on the ‘view my cart’ and proceed to ‘check out’ through PayPal’s secure site.

You may also pay the registration fees by bank transfer, although this takes longer and involves more expense. Please see the bank transfer option below.

Invoices

If you require an invoice, please contact invoice@iafor.org, with “CITY2017 Invoice Request” in the subject, stating the amount, your name, and submission reference number if applicable, and we will provide you with an invoice.

Receipts

After your payment has been confirmed and processed by our Finance Section you will receive an official receipt via email (attached as a PDF).

Cancellations & Refunds

Please note that if you need to cancel your registration for whatever reason, you must do so in writing by May 15, 2017, by emailing city@iafor.org. Registration cancellation before this time will result in the issuance of a refund, subject to a 100 EUR service fee. Refunds will not be given after this date. Requests for refunds for optional extras purchased separately from registration (conference dinner and tours) must similarly be made by May 15, 2017 and will be subject to a 10 EUR service fee. Refunds for optional extras will not be given after this date.

Multi-Authored Submissions

If your accepted submission is multi-authored and more than one author would like to participate in the conference, each participant needs to register and pay the registration fee separately.

How to Pay by Bank Transfer

Please include in the notes/memo section on the bank transfer: ‘CITY2017′, your full name, and if you are a presenter – your five digit submission reference number (this is located in your official letter of acceptance) or “audience” if you are not a presenter.

For both domestic and international bank transfers, the local bank charges for the remittance are to be paid by the registrant. International bank transfers to Japan are subject to an additional 50 EUR fee per transfer to cover intermediary bank charges, so add 50 EUR to any registration fee or package.

IMPORTANT: So we may easily identify your payment, please send an email to conferences@iafor.org with a scanned copy of the bank transfer receipt attached to the email after making the payment, both international and domestic.

In order to expedite the payment process make sure that your email contains the information listed below:

  • 4. Submission Number (if applicable)
