This international and interdisciplinary conference will again bring together a range of academics and practitioners to discuss new directions of research and discovery in the social sciences. As with IAFOR’s other events, ACSET2015 will afford the opportunity for renewing old acquaintances, making new contacts, and networking across higher education and beyond.
Third Asian Conference on Society, Education and Technology will again be held alongside the Seventh Asian Conference on Education. Registration for either conference will allow attendees to attend sessions in the other.
The International Academic Forum in partnership with Waseda University (Japan), Birkbeck University of London (UK), The National Institute of Education (Singapore), The National University of Tainan (Taiwan), Lincoln University (UK), the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKSAR), Virginia Tech (USA), Auburn University (USA), and its global partners is proud to announce the Third Annual Asian Conference on Society, Education & Technology, to be held from October 28-November 2, 2015, at the Art Center of Kobe in Kobe, Japan.

Professor, University of Illinois Springfield, USA
Keith W. Miller is the Schewe Professor of Liberal Arts and Science at the University of Illinois Springfield, where he is a member of the Computer Science Department, and an associate member of the Philosophy Department. Dr. Miller’s research interests are in software testing and in computer ethics, and he is currently the editor-in-chief of IEEE Technology and Society Magazine. He was awarded the 2011 Joseph Weizenbaum Award by the International Society for Ethics and Information Technology. He is the principal investigator of a recent grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation to study the effects of ethics education for computer science students.
We hope and expect the 2015 conference themes to inspire a number of research avenues, and look forward to discussing ideas, findings and synergies, in this International Academic Forum.

The IAFOR Journal of Education is an editorially independent journal associated with ACSET. A small number of papers from the conference proceedings are selected by the journal editor. Articles may also be submitted directly by contacting the appropriate editor. These open access journals, which conform to the highest academic standards, reflect the interdisciplinary and international nature of our conferences and are organized thematically.
If your abstract is accepted and you have registered for the conference, you are encouraged to submit a full paper for inclusion in the official conference proceedings published on the website. Final papers should be uploaded through the submissions system. Please ensure that your paper is ready to go to press by the submission deadline.
