The National University of Tainan (NUTN) is a university in Tainan, Taiwan. NUTN was founded during the Japanese rule as Tainan Normal School in April 1898. In August 2004, the college was promoted and renamed National University of Tainan.
The University is distinguished for its beautiful historical buildings as well as high academic achievements. There are currently 237 full-time faculty members and 6,352 students at the university. NUTN is devoted to promoting international cooperation with universities worldwide, and have signed official agreements with 124 foreign universities in 23 countries. The scope for mutual cooperation includes faculty exchange, student exchange, international academic conferences, joint research projects, overseas internships and double degree programs.
