Kobe University Joins the IAFOR Global Partnership Programme

We are happy to announce that Kobe University has joined the IAFOR Global Partnership Programme, as of September 1, 2018. Kobe is one of Japan's leading national universities, and a major public research institution.

Dr Joseph Haldane, Chairman and CEO of IAFOR said: "Kobe university is a great institution with a global reputation, and is known domestically for its internationalising profile. This is the second university with which IAFOR is associated with in Japan's Kansai region, following the establishment of our research centre at Osaka University, and we look forward to working collaboratively across the institutions, particularly on the continued development of The Silk Road Initiative".

"Educational cooperation without borders"

The IAFOR Global Partnership Programme provides mutual recognition and scope for Global Partner institutions and organisations to showcase their research strengths, as well as engage in the development of projects and programmes with IAFOR.

Each of IAFOR’s institutional partners provides a nominee to the International Academic Advisory Board (IAAB). These academic partnerships support and nurture IAFOR’s goals of educational cooperation without borders, connecting the organisation with institutions that have an international and internationalising profile, and a commitment to interdisciplinary research.
