The University of Indonesia Joins the IAFOR Global Partnership Programme

IAFOR is pleased to announce that the University of Indonesia has joined the IAFOR Global Partnership Programme, through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by University of Indonesia Rector, Professor Muhamad Anis, and IAFOR President, Dr Joseph Haldane.

"The University of Indonesia is the oldest, most prestigious, and best ranked university in the country, and we are happy to welcome them to the IAFOR Global Partnership Programme. Indonesia is a fast developing and dynamic country, and we look forward to continue to work with some of the nation's best and brightest students and scholars," says Dr Haldane.

The University of Indonesia prides itself on its diversity of cultures and disciplines, its world-class research and its extensive and modern ‘green’ campuses in Salemba and Depok, of which 75 percent is beautiful forest. With over 400,000 alumni, the university has been an important educational forerunner in Asia, and indeed the world, since its inception in 1849.
