The IAFOR Journal of Business & Management is an internationally reviewed and editorially independent interdisciplinary journal associated with IAFOR’s international conferences on Business and Management. Like all IAFOR publications, it is freely available to read online, and is free of publication fees for authors. The first issue was published in August 2014, and the journal aims to publish annually.

The journal Editor welcomes submissions related to Business and Management from academics, practitioners and professionals within the field. Full papers submitted to the related IAFOR conference proceedings research repositories will also be considered, providing that they meet the journal submission guidelines. Authors will be contacted if their paper is selected for review. All papers are reviewed equally according to standard peer review processes, regardless of whether or not the authors have attended a related IAFOR conference.

Indexes: The IAFOR Journal of Business & Management is indexed in SHERPA/RoMEO and Google Scholar.

Projected publication dates:
– March 2017 (submissions currently under review)

Professor Anshuman Khare

Athabasca University, Canada

Dr Anshuman Khare is Professor in Operations Management at Athabasca University, Canada. He joined Athabasca University in January 2000. He is an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow and has completed two post-doctoral terms at Johannes Gutenberg Universität in Mainz, Germany. He is also a former Monbusho Scholar, having completed a postdoctoral assignment at Ryukoku University in Kyoto, Japan. He has published a number of books and research papers on a wide range of topics. His research focuses on environmental regulation impacts on industry, just-in-time manufacturing, supply chain management, sustainability, cities and climate change, online business education, transformation brought about by digital technologies, etc.

Anshuman also serves as Associate Editor of International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education published by Emerald and International Journal of Applied Management and Technology.

Professor William Baber

Kyoto University, Japan

Will Baber has combined education with business throughout his career, teaching business students in Japan and Europe and working in economic development for the State of Maryland and language services in Washington, DC. In his work he has frequently encountered cross cultural conflicts and synergies. He studies these issues as an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Management of Kyoto University. Research interests include cross-cultural adaptation and the impact of expatriates on the workplace.

Call for Submissions: October 2017 Issue

The IAFOR Journal of Business & Management is calling for submissions for the upcoming October 2017 issue of the journal.

The recently appointed Guest Editor, Professor Anshuman Khare of Athabasca University, Canada, and Associate Editor, Professor William Baber of Kyoto University, Japan, encourage submissions from academics, practitioners and professionals within the fields of Business and Management.

How to Submit
The submission deadline for the next issue of the journal is July 31, 2017. Submissions should be sent, along with a completed copy of the submission form, directly to the editors at anshuman.khare@gmail.com, in accordance with the Author Guidelines. Please ensure that you cc the IAFOR publications team at publications@iafor.org.
